Bristol Airport Civils Maintenance Framework

LAML supported Bristol Airport carry out planned maintenance.

Contract Dates: June 2024 - Ongoing

LAML supported Bristol Airport with the following activities:

  • Maintenance works during the March & November closures – usually operating with 5 working groups on a shift with up to 65 men and 45 vehicles

    • Carrying out asphalt & SMA patch repairs

    • Inlaid crack repairs

    • Saw cutting & sealing

    • Crack chasing

    • AGL replacement

    • Veneer surfacing

    • Overbanding

    • Paint marking reinstatement

    Planned maintenance activities on the Aprons have included:

    • Ironwork replacement

    • Structural repairs to drainage chambers

    • Installation of drainage systems: Slot drains, carrier pipes and new chambers

    • Trenching for new services

    • Surfacing of Apron roads

    • High Performance Joint Installations

    • Concrete repairs

    LAML are retained for 24-hour emergency call-outs on the runway and taxiways, undertaking patching and surface repairs.
